About Evergreen Recovery
Evergreen Recovery began in 2016 by two friends who attended college together. Originally, Evergreen was started as an adolescent treatment center, but quickly evolved to serving adults ages 18 and older. Today, Evergreen Recovery is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services as a 245G facility, offering outpatient treatment as a co-occurring program with medical services. We operate on a set of core values that we fiercely believe in.

Be Better is a concept that each individual defines for themselves. As a program, we define Be Better as going to the max and exhausting all of our efforts for clients and team members alike.

Go ahead, do it. Take a chance on yourself, to live your best, healthy life. Take a chance on a person who uses drugs or alcohol, who has been through treatment numerous times, and is taking a chance on doing it again. Take Chances means that our team will assist and support clients, and that clients are expected to actively participate in their treatment planning. Take Chances means that we will push our clients to Be Better, a little bit more every day. Take Chances means we will Be Better.
Think Creatively. Act Alternatively.
Treatment for substance use disorders is not a one-size-fits-all. Each client may require a different approach to treatment and collaborative services. Each team member will have their own style in working with clients. Treatment services and recovery is not black & white. The possibilities are endless. We will Think Creatively when it comes to problem solving and find different solutions that will lead us to Act Alternatively in our approach to problematic behaviors, skills, and strategies.
Educate, Engage, Empower.
People who are educated are likely to be more engaged, leading to a feeling of being empowered. These are powerful concepts for people in recovery. We will do our best to Educate our team, to make sure that we will Be Better than just another treatment program. We will Take Chances and Educate our clients to Empower them learn to live a healthy life of recovery. We expect our team to Engage our clients in treatment services and will provide resources to Empower them to be successful & healthy.
Support Multiple Pathways.
There is no one true way to recovery. We get that, and we support whatever path a client chooses. We will Educate on harm reduction and will be supportive of clients who choose this path to recovery. We will Take Chances and support clients who seek medication-assisted treatment, and hold a medical cannabis card. We will Empower clients who want to live completely substance free.
